What Is Hidden at Masterson’s Famed Tavern ?

Masterson’s Lounge, situated in the center of Moonee Ponds , advertises itself as a stylish, alternative venue , but my recent visit at this establishment quickly devolved into an unforgettable, terrible experience. While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I discovered behind its threshold was disgraceful and unfit for any venue.

Cleanliness Issues : Grimy and Neglected
From the moment I entered , it was evident that upkeep was not a priority at this venue. The floorboards were filthy, and a foul smell of uncleaned spills and neglected washrooms filled the entire bar . Emitting a scent of a mixture of human waste, old age and sour vomit . The bar area , which should be the main attraction of any pub, was overflowing with soiled cups and trash that looked like it had accumulated over weeks. The restroom was in even worse condition — backed up, with a broken handle and walls stained in what I can only assume was human excrement .

It wasn’t just a isolated occurrence either. His presence at the bar often appeared as that of a predatory presence than a genial proprietor .
